I like that the material stretches because my mattress is taller than usual. I do with the material is a bit thicker though and softer. It does do its job, the inner lining doesn't allow water or moisture to go through it.I wanted a mattress cover that is water resistant because I have dogs one of which is a puppy and wanted to protect my mattress. I have a deep mattress and also have a 2 in. foam topper on it and was worried it wouldn't fit but as you can see from the photo that it fits great. It also has the look and feel of a regular mattress cover but it's waterproof. It doesn't make any noise like other waterproof covers and it's very comfortable. It's a good price and I highly recommend it.This cover was a good fit for deep mattress; wraps well and stays in place with movement. Sleeps cool as well, does not make the mattress hot.Light weight and no bulk.This mattress protector hits the mark for what I was looking for: Water resistant but doesn’t feel like plastic; very Soft and comfortable; Fits a deep mattress and Stays in place. Bonus that it looks good. I’d definitely buy it again and recommend to anyone I like :).The quality of this mattress pad is very high end and luxurious.I have an incontinent 13 y/o Boston Terrier who sleeps with me every night and now we sleep with the Early Bird Essentials mattress pad I know my mattress will not get ruined. I also love the wide elastic band placed all around the protector, it gives my mattress a nice fit and hug. I am very pleased with this purchase.My upper mattress is very high and the cover fits nicely with no struggle to fit. Soft to the touch. I tend to have my morning coffee in bed so nice to know my mattress is protected from future spills.The mattress encasement fit firmly around our mattress and the material is super soft. I was concerned about the material being hard or make noise when turning on it, but it's not. It molds well into the mattress so that it's barely noticeable that it was added.
