Love this, fits so much which you can easily see everything without digging or taking everything out.Very well made bag. This sturdy little makeup case contains lots of compartments for my makeup. Its spare size is not for those with lots of makeup.I was hoping for something that would also have an area for some jewelry, as did the case I have worn out, but couldn't find anything to fit the bill.I bought this for traveling with makeup and travel-sized skincare, mainly to throw in my carry-on or checked luggage for flights. The first layer holds brushes and mascara-sized items, while the second has a few zipped pockets and elastic strips. I don't find the pockets super useful, as I feel I can fit more in if I just pile it together! On my last 10-day business trip (pictured here), I was able to fit 28 products, most of which were full-sized:-6 slimmer brushes, one larger blush brush, and one small kabuki brush-A brow pencil, liquid eyeliner, mascara, and concealer-A slim eyeshadow palette (Elf's Mad for Matte)-Blush, powder highlighter, liquid highlighter-6 lip products (2 lipsticks, 1 crayon, 1 gloss tube, 1 mini liquid lipstick tube) and 2 lip liner pencils-A tube of primer and a tube of BB cream-Powder foundation and setting powder (in a contact lens case)It gets a bit bulky (like a big makeup-filled brick) when it's this full and takes up a decent amount of space in a small carry-on, but stays a bit slimmer when it isn't jam packed. I wanted to see if I could use this for shorter overnight/weekend stays, but find myself reaching for a smaller zipper pouch instead since I find I don't need all the space this provides for those shorter trips, and I'd rather not have the bulk. The only thing that I've had break while traveling with this was a domed blush that cracked in its pan. I like that the material and lining are plastic, so that if something were to leak, I could just rinse it out. The zippers feel sturdy and work smoothly.Overall, I'd prefer a slimmer profile for shorter trips to throw in a backpack or small bag, but this fits the bill for longer trips to pack in a suitcase.I got the small bag and love this for travel or everyday touch up items. It's doesn't fit a lot of makeup so getting travel size products will help a lot. I've always used a big bag of makeup for traveling and end up not using it. It's always annoying because I'm stuck carrying it around if I'm moving around cities or towns. I have to be very precise with this bag about what I bring. This bag fits all the brushes I need. I got my shape tape concelor and laura Mercier powder in travel size. I also had small blushes and one of the small huda beauty eyeshadow pallets. It all fits perfectly with my mascara eyeliner etc. I can even fit some more stuff. That's not bulky. All in all I recommend this bag, if you need more space the bigger version will definitely fit your needs.I bought this case to replace one that I liked, but found it to be slightly big. I like this case much better, as it holds my brushes neatly on one side, and all my “daily use” cosmetics on the other side. I’m a cosmetic junkie, so I have TONS of makeup, which by no means would all fit in this case, but I like to kind of rotate through my stockpile depending on what season it is and what are my “favorites of the moment.”In this case, I carry all of the brushes I use, which makes me so happy they all fit! On the cosmetic side, I have about 4 different bottle/tube foundations, 6 individual eyeshadows, 2 stick foundations, 4 different concealers, a stick highlighter, 3 powder compacts, a bronzing powder compact, an eyeshadow quad, 2 creme blushes and 1 powder blush, a liquid highlighter, mascara, 8 eyeliners, 4 lip pencils, 6 lipsticks, 2 lipglosses, lash curler, a couple hair clips, eyeshadow primer, a pencil sharpener, 3 different setting sprays, and a folding travel mirror. Seriously, this case holds A LOT. If I didn’t have the travel mirror inside the case, I could fit a large palette instead. I took the mirror out in one of my photos, so you can see the amount of space it takes up.I would definitely recommend this case, and I’m actually considering purchasing a second one.Great for traveling, just a little big. ( when I travel I tend to downsize, so I wouldn’t take the bag) Sturdiness and durability is excellent.I bought this makeup organizer bag because I was getting tired of finding each item within my makeup tote bag. Everything was rolling around in there and things got dusty too. Now I can find everything so easily and each compartment stores everything clean too. It’s compact enough but has lots of space to take your go-to items. I like how the bag has the string handle and the zippers are well designed. One thing that I wish could be improved is the way the back section is designed. The elastic bands to fit items are designed in a horizontal format. It’s very hard to take things out and in… It would have been more functional if those sections were vertical (like how the brush pockets are set up in the front section). But overall, very happy with the purchase.I also purchased the BIG size from this brand and bought the SMALL size after. The big one was beautifully designed. Very functional. It’s just it was too big to carry my carry on makeups. The big one would be perfect if you need to travel and need to pack all your makeup. The small one was the right size for my everyday take and go makeup bag.Purchased the small size first but found it too small to fit all the products shown here in the medium size (which I’m keeping). In the small size, my brushes were getting stuck in the zipper of the first compartment, while I found the second compartment too shallow with impractical strapping. Zippers on both feel very smooth and of good quality. I wish the material were a bit more luxurious and/or with fun design, hence the one star taken off. This material and bag shape reminds me of the toiletry kits you used to get on airplanes. The material is of good quality but the bag is too small and the individual compartments are not designed in a way to actually hold anything. Things needed to be tetris-ed in the main compartment to fit into the bag at all (might as well just buy a bag with no compartments at all and just throw everything in loosely). The compartments are so small that nothing fits into them nicely. I had minimal makeup and brushes in it (1 bottle of foundation. One eyeshadow pallet. One blush and one bronzer and 3 small brushes and the thing could barely close and the bag was all warped after it was zipped up. I guess it might suffice as a travel bag but I definitely would not claim it to be a storage bag unless you really don't have much to store in it. Maybe the larger size bag is better but the small bag was a decent amount money for a very poor design so I think I'll try somewhere else rather than taking that gamble.I wish this case was half inch to 3/4 of an inch deeper. Some of the pockets aren’t very usable because as soon as you stuff them with things it’s impossible to close properly .This is a nice compact bag for people who want to streamline their make up and pack a small bag for a weekend getaway with minimal luggage.I have been on an organization kick and this was a great buy - i love that it's customizable. It fits all the makeup I need and is portable - so can put it in my gym or school bag, as needed. If I'm going my make up at home - it keeps my countertops tidy. The regular "pouch style" makeup bags that you sort of have to rummage through, and empty out - used to make my morning routine sort of hectic. I couldn't find things I was looking for or it just took longer etc. The only improvement I can think of - is that I which the plastic material that is used in the brush section, when is super easy to wipe clean, was used throughout. All in all, I recommend this.
